Work one-on-one with one of our music producers from around the country and take comfort in working with a producer who actually cares about your music and will take the time to bring it to it’s full potential. “The Producer” production will include tracks from some of the best studio musicians in Nashville as well as programming and instrumentation from your producer himself. Be ready to supply a worktape (mp3 or m4a format) that is clear enough to hear all vocal melodies and chords. If you are choosing a singer from the Nashville Demo Works Demo Singer Roster then we will send the worktape to that singer first so they can let us know the correct key for the song to be recorded in. Include references for other songs that fit the feel, drum style etc…
You and your producer will do extensive pre-production (The most important step is getting the song itself right!) and we will create a custom production plan for your song. (It is important to note that the songwriter needs be ok with giving the producer some creative control. It’s not going to end up exactly the way you imagine it every time. But usually it turns out even better.)

Our most popular recording package! The Songwriter production package is customizable and always beautifully unique. Could be you just need a low budget demo, or it could be a low budget master for sync!
Nashville Demo Works has a different idea of what it should mean to “record a demo” for your song. These days more and more, as songwriters, we need to stand out. Give them something to remember!
We can customize production to meet your song’s specific needs and your budget. Work one-on-one with a producer to develop production plan that gets you an amazing master quality demo without breaking the bank! The songwriter demo productions are built instrument by instrument and most instrumentation is built, performed, engineered etc.. by the producer. Nashville studio musicians can and often are hired for overdubs.
The old wives’ tale about A/R guys “hearing through worktapes” is just that, a wives’ tale. They don’t hear through a bad production or bad singer any better than anyone else. That’s why it’s our job to catch their ear so your song keeps their interest. Work-for-hire contracts available.

Not all songs need a full production. Some songs really stand out better with a more stripped down production.
So with our Guitar/ Piano Vocal you can build a custom production to meet your needs and budget. Maybe you just want a good live take of your song with good sound quality or maybe you want your own stripped down guitar vocal for sync opportunities. Whatever it is, we got you.
